About Me

Mata Yoga is the beautiful yoga & mindfulness offerings of Natasha Moutran. Natasha believes that in order to live life to our full potential we must take time to find inner balance and connect to our true selves

Natasha founded Mata Yoga out of the love and joy of her yoga practice and her wish to share this with London & globally. Natasha has since gone on to also Co-Found of The Retreat Collection, a luxury boutique retreat company offering transformational and beautiful retreats around the world. She was also the co-founder of top new fitness trend Secret Urban Escape in London, which she started with Iris Louwerens, and has since handed over reins to Iris in order to focus on her other ventures.

Mata Yoga offers in depth classes in Corporate Yoga & Meditation, Private Yoga / Meditation Classes (1:2:1), including prenatal & postnatal yoga, as well as workshops. Natasha's aim is to teach insightful, inspired and engaging classes that can help clients develop their asana (physical yoga practice), while calming the nervous system and taking time for themselves to relax and restore the mind, body and soul. Classes are tailored to individual or group needs, making sure each student gets the most from their practice, whether it be a strong dynamic flow, or a restorative tranquil session.

Natasha Moutran is an international yoga teacher, fully accredited with Yoga Alliance (200hr). After practicing yoga and meditation for over 10 years she found that there was a lot more yoga could offer than the physical benefits; it allowed her to be the best possible version of herself. Natasha teaches classes, workshops and retreats in London and across the globe, sharing her love of yoga and meditation wherever she goes.

Natasha decided to share this passion by helping others find balance, stay calm and feel grounded in the hectic city life. She trained to teach with appleyoga on both the 200hr Teacher Training and the Pre & Postnatal Teacher Training, and continues to study, currently training in Yoga Therapuetics with Yoga Medicine, studying with Tiffany Cruickshank, as well as training as Health Coach with The Institute of Integrative Nutrition. Natasha also mentors and teaches on the current appleyoga teacher trainings. As a constant student on this path, Natasha enjoys furthering her knowledge with some of the worlds leading practitioners in yoga, philosophy, meditation and energy work. Natasha currently teaches various classes and workshops around London, and with a love for exploring and traveling, she often enjoys taking her yoga around the world on retreats. Natasha's creative background in music inspires her teaching, making her classes fun and exciting, with not only a flowing practice but a great soundtrack too.
